As nurses, we know the impact of the many forms of heart disease on our patients and their families. Did you know that Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in Hawaii, and is responsible for almost 4,000 deaths per year. Over 18,000 hospitalizations every year in Hawaii result from cardiovascular disease, accounting for about 22 percent of all Hawaii hospital costs.
On WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 6, 2019 in Honolulu Hawaii join us to learn the most current strategies for cardiac assessment and treatment.

Learn best practices for cardiac care and for teaching our patients and families how to optimize their cardiac heath and well-being. This conference is designed for NP’s, RN’s, LPN’s, Pharmacists and other allied health professionals (contact hours for nursing licenses only).
$150 includes 8 contact hours for nurse licensing renewal in Hawaii and all 50 states, breakfast, lunch, and all materials.
On-site metered parking is available for $1/hour.

Goals and Objectives
At the conclusion of this conference the participant shall:
- Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac morbidity and mortality in the USA & Hawaii.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common dysrhythmias, including etiology, identification, implications and management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of ischemic heart disease including etiology & prevention, assessment, implications, & management
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills for patient and family teaching and support related to cardiac disease.
