Nursing is an amazing and rewarding profession. It is also extremely stressful. None of us are immune to the physical, mental, and emotional fatigue caused by stress and often referred to as ‘burnout’.
We will explore the current research on burnout and its impact on ourselves, our families, our coworkers, patients, and their families during our self-care conferences. We will employ reliable, valid assessment tools to evaluate individual fatigue and best of all learn simple, effective ways to reverse and prevent burnout.
